I started my career in corporate sales and management within London’s leisure and fitness sector, learning the power of membership models, customer experience, and operational excellence. These early lessons shaped my understanding of what makes businesses thrive.
In 2006, I launched my own lifestyle consultancy, supporting startups to turn ideas into sustainable businesses through strategic planning, sales, and operational guidance. Helping new ventures grow became my passion.
By 2011, I founded The Busylizzy Club. What began as a small, community-focused club has grown into a national franchise serving over 55,000 families. Through franchising, we expanded to multiple locations across the UK, supported by a network of over 300 exercise professionals.
Why I Mentor And Consult?
I mentor and consult as my way of giving back. Having spent years running and supporting a franchise network of business owners, (many stepping into entrepreneurship for the very first time), I know how daunting it can feel. The uncertainty, the pressure of every decision resting on your shoulders, the isolation of trying to figure it all out alone.
Supporting these business owners through every stage of their journey – from the first launch, through growth, and even to exiting their business, is deeply rewarding. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing someone gain confidence, embrace their potential, and flourish in a business. Their success feels personal, because I have walked the path with them.
